Psalms 77

For the Chief Musician. To Jeduthun. A Psalm by Asaph. My cry goes to God! Indeed, I cry to God for help, and for him to listen to me.

प्रधान बजानेवाले के लिये: यदूतून की राग पर, आसाप का भजन मैं परमेश्वर की दुहाई चिल्ला चिल्लाकर दूँगा, मैं परमेश्वर की दुहाई दूँगा, और वह मेरी ओर कान लगाएगा।

In the day of my trouble I sought the Lord. My hand was stretched out in the night, and didn’t get tired. My soul refused to be comforted.

संकट के दिन मैं प्रभु की खोज में लगा रहा; रात को मेरा हाथ फैला रहा, और ढीला न हुआ, मुझ में शान्ति आई ही नहीं।

I remember God, and I groan. I complain, and my spirit is overwhelmed. Selah.

मैं परमेश्वर का स्मरण कर करके कराहता हूँ; मैं चिन्ता करते-करते मूर्छित हो चला हूँ। (सेला)

You hold my eyelids open. I am so troubled that I can’t speak.

तू मुझे झपकी लगने नहीं देता; मैं ऐसा घबराया हूँ कि मेरे मुँह से बात नहीं निकलती।

I have considered the days of old, the years of ancient times.

मैंने प्राचीनकाल के दिनों को, और युग-युग के वर्षों को सोचा है।

I remember my song in the night. I consider in my own heart; my spirit diligently inquires:

मैं रात के समय अपने गीत को स्मरण करता; और मन में ध्यान करता हूँ, और मन में भली भाँति विचार करता हूँ:

“Will the Lord reject us forever? Will he be favorable no more?

“क्या प्रभु युग-युग के लिये मुझे छोड़ देगा; और फिर कभी प्रसन्न न होगा?

Has his loving kindness vanished forever? Does his promise fail for generations?

क्या उसकी करुणा सदा के लिये जाती रही? क्या उसका वचन पीढ़ी-पीढ़ी के लिये निष्फल हो गया है?

Has God forgotten to be gracious? Has he, in anger, withheld his compassion?” Selah.

क्या परमेश्वर अनुग्रह करना भूल गया? क्या उसने क्रोध करके अपनी सब दया को रोक रखा है?” (सेला)

Then I thought, “I will appeal to this: the years of the right hand of the Most High.”

मैंने कहा, “यह तो मेरा दुःख है, कि परमप्रधान का दाहिना हाथ बदल गया है।”

I will remember the LORD’s deeds; for I will remember your wonders of old.

मैं यहोवा के बड़े कामों की चर्चा करूँगा; निश्चय मैं तेरे प्राचीनकालवाले अद्भुत कामों को स्मरण करूँगा।

I will also meditate on all your work, and consider your doings.

मैं तेरे सब कामों पर ध्यान करूँगा, और तेरे बड़े कामों को सोचूँगा।

Your way, God, is in the sanctuary. What god is great like God?

हे परमेश्वर तेरी गति पवित्रता की है। कौन सा देवता परमेश्वर के तुल्य बड़ा है?

You are the God who does wonders. You have made your strength known among the peoples.

अद्भुत काम करनेवाला परमेश्वर तू ही है, तूने देश-देश के लोगों पर अपनी शक्ति प्रगट की है।

You have redeemed your people with your arm, the sons of Jacob and Joseph. Selah.

तूने अपने भुजबल से अपनी प्रजा, याकूब और यूसुफ के वंश को छुड़ा लिया है। (सेला)

The waters saw you, God. The waters saw you, and they writhed. The depths also convulsed.

हे परमेश्वर, समुद्र ने तुझे देखा, समुद्र तुझे देखकर डर गया, गहरा सागर भी काँप उठा।

The clouds poured out water. The skies resounded with thunder. Your arrows also flashed around.

मेघों से बड़ी वर्षा हुई; आकाश से शब्द हुआ; फिर तेरे तीर इधर-उधर चले।

The voice of your thunder was in the whirlwind. The lightnings lit up the world. The earth trembled and shook.

बवंडर में तेरे गरजने का शब्द सुन पड़ा था; जगत बिजली से प्रकाशित हुआ; पृथ्वी काँपी और हिल गई।

Your way was through the sea, your paths through the great waters. Your footsteps were not known.

तेरा मार्ग समुद्र में है, और तेरा रास्ता गहरे जल में हुआ; और तेरे पाँवों के चिन्ह मालूम नहीं होते।

You led your people like a flock, by the hand of Moses and Aaron.

तूने मूसा और हारून के द्वारा, अपनी प्रजा की अगुआई भेड़ों की सी की।
