Psalms 118

Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good, for his loving kindness endures forever.

यहोवा का धन्यवाद करो, क्योंकि वह भला है; और उसकी करुणा सदा की है!

Let Israel now say that his loving kindness endures forever.

इस्राएल कहे, उसकी करुणा सदा की है।

Let the house of Aaron now say that his loving kindness endures forever.

हारून का घराना कहे, उसकी करुणा सदा की है।

Now let those who fear the LORD say that his loving kindness endures forever.

यहोवा के डरवैये कहे, उसकी करुणा सदा की है।

Out of my distress, I called on the LORD. The LORD answered me with freedom.

मैंने सकेती में परमेश्वर को पुकारा, परमेश्वर ने मेरी सुनकर, मुझे चौड़े स्थान में पहुँचाया।

The LORD is on my side. I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?

यहोवा मेरी ओर है, मैं न डरूँगा। मनुष्य मेरा क्या कर सकता है?

The LORD is on my side among those who help me. Therefore I will look in triumph at those who hate me.

यहोवा मेरी ओर मेरे सहायक है; मैं अपने बैरियों पर दृष्टि कर सन्तुष्ट होऊँगा।

It is better to take refuge in the LORD, than to put confidence in man.

यहोवा की शरण लेना, मनुष्य पर भरोसा रखने से उत्तम है।

It is better to take refuge in the LORD, than to put confidence in princes.

यहोवा की शरण लेना, प्रधानों पर भी भरोसा रखने से उत्तम है।

All the nations surrounded me, but in the LORD’s name I cut them off.

सब जातियों ने मुझ को घेर लिया है; परन्तु यहोवा के नाम से मैं निश्चय उन्हें नाश कर डालूँगा।

They surrounded me, yes, they surrounded me. In the LORD’s name I indeed cut them off.

उन्होंने मुझ को घेर लिया है, निःसन्देह, उन्होंने मुझे घेर लिया है; परन्तु यहोवा के नाम से मैं निश्चय उन्हें नाश कर डालूँगा।

They surrounded me like bees. They are quenched like the burning thorns. In the LORD’s name I cut them off.

उन्होंने मुझे मधुमक्खियों के समान घेर लिया है, परन्तु काँटों की आग के समान वे बुझ गए; यहोवा के नाम से मैं निश्चय उन्हें नाश कर डालूँगा!

You pushed me back hard, to make me fall, but the LORD helped me.

तूने मुझे बड़ा धक्का दिया तो था, कि मैं गिर पड़ूँ, परन्तु यहोवा ने मेरी सहायता की।

The LORD is my strength and song. He has become my salvation.

परमेश्वर मेरा बल और भजन का विषय है; वह मेरा उद्धार ठहरा है।

The voice of rejoicing and salvation is in the tents of the righteous. “The right hand of the LORD does valiantly.

धर्मियों के तम्बुओं में जयजयकार और उद्धार की ध्वनि हो रही है, यहोवा के दाहिने हाथ से पराक्रम का काम होता है,

The right hand of the LORD is exalted! The right hand of the LORD does valiantly!”

यहोवा का दाहिना हाथ महान हुआ है, यहोवा के दाहिने हाथ से पराक्रम का काम होता है!

I will not die, but live, and declare the LORD’s works.

मैं न मरूँगा वरन् जीवित रहूँगा, और परमेश्वर के कामों का वर्णन करता रहूँगा।

The LORD has punished me severely, but he has not given me over to death.

परमेश्वर ने मेरी बड़ी ताड़ना तो की है परन्तु मुझे मृत्यु के वश में नहीं किया।

Open to me the gates of righteousness. I will enter into them. I will give thanks to the LORD.

मेरे लिये धर्म के द्वार खोलो, मैं उनमें प्रवेश करके यहोवा का धन्यवाद करूँगा।

This is the gate of the LORD; the righteous will enter into it.

यहोवा का द्वार यही है, इससे धर्मी प्रवेश करने पाएँगे।

I will give thanks to you, for you have answered me, and have become my salvation.

हे यहोवा, मैं तेरा धन्यवाद करूँगा, क्योंकि तूने मेरी सुन ली है, और मेरा उद्धार ठहर गया है।

The stone which the builders rejected has become the cornerstone.

राजमिस्त्रियों ने जिस पत्थर को निकम्मा ठहराया था वही कोने का सिरा हो गया है।

This is the LORD’s doing. It is marvelous in our eyes.

यह तो यहोवा की ओर से हुआ है, यह हमारी दृष्टि में अद्भुत है।

This is the day that the LORD has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it!

आज वह दिन है जो यहोवा ने बनाया है; हम इसमें मगन और आनन्दित हों।

Save us now, we beg you, LORD! LORD, we beg you, send prosperity now.

हे यहोवा, विनती सुन, उद्धार कर! हे यहोवा, विनती सुन, सफलता दे!

Blessed is he who comes in the LORD’s name! We have blessed you out of the LORD’s house.

धन्य है वह जो यहोवा के नाम से आता है! हमने तुम को यहोवा के घर से आशीर्वाद दिया है।

The LORD is God, and he has given us light. Bind the sacrifice with cords, even to the horns of the altar.

यहोवा परमेश्वर है, और उसने हमको प्रकाश दिया है। यज्ञपशु को वेदी के सींगों से रस्सियों से बाँधो!

You are my God, and I will give thanks to you. You are my God, I will exalt you.

हे यहोवा, तू मेरा परमेश्वर है, मैं तेरा धन्यवाद करूँगा; तू मेरा परमेश्वर है, मैं तुझको सराहूँगा।

Oh give thanks to the LORD, for he is good, for his loving kindness endures forever.

यहोवा का धन्यवाद करो, क्योंकि वह भला है; और उसकी करुणा सदा बनी रहेगी!
