Psalms 61

For the Chief Musician. For a stringed instrument. By David. Hear my cry, God. Listen to my prayer.
प्रधान बजानेवाले के लिये तारवाले बाजे के साथ दाऊद का भजन हे परमेश्वर, मेरा चिल्लाना सुन, मेरी प्रार्थना की ओर ध्यान दे।

From the end of the earth, I will call to you when my heart is overwhelmed. Lead me to the rock that is higher than I.
मूर्छा खाते समय मैं पृथ्वी की छोर से भी तुझे पुकारूँगा, जो चट्टान मेरे लिये ऊँची है, उस पर मुझ को ले चल;

For you have been a refuge for me, a strong tower from the enemy.
क्योंकि तू मेरा शरणस्थान है, और शत्रु से बचने के लिये ऊँचा गढ़ है।

I will dwell in your tent forever. I will take refuge in the shelter of your wings. Selah.
मैं तेरे तम्बू में युगानुयुग बना रहूँगा। मैं तेरे पंखों की ओट में शरण लिए रहूँगा। (सेला)

For you, God, have heard my vows. You have given me the heritage of those who fear your name.
क्योंकि हे परमेश्वर, तूने मेरी मन्नतें सुनीं, जो तेरे नाम के डरवैये हैं, उनका सा भाग तूने मुझे दिया है।

You will prolong the king’s life. His years will be for generations.
तू राजा की आयु को बहुत बढ़ाएगा; उसके वर्ष पीढ़ी-पीढ़ी के बराबर होंगे।

He shall be enthroned in God’s presence forever. Appoint your loving kindness and truth, that they may preserve him.
वह परमेश्वर के सम्मुख सदा बना रहेगा; तू अपनी करुणा और सच्चाई को उसकी रक्षा के लिये ठहरा रख।
8
So I will sing praise to your name forever, that I may fulfill my vows daily.
इस प्रकार मैं सर्वदा तेरे नाम का भजन गा गाकर अपनी मन्नतें हर दिन पूरी किया करूँगा।
