How the church began
Rev. Brian Anderson was trained and sent out from The Father's House in Chandigarh. In 2011 he began gathering a small group of believers for prayer and teaching. The group became a congregation, the congregation moved to Zirakpur, and a second gathering began in Chandigarh so people on that side of the Tricity would not have to travel.
Fifteen years later the pattern is the same one he started with: pray first, teach the Bible plainly, and let the church eat together afterwards. He still teaches every Sunday, still in both languages, and still ends the morning standing at the door.
What he teaches
He preaches through a subject rather than around it, usually across several Sundays, which is why the messages come in series: prayer and fasting, standing firm, moving forward, giving, the cost of following Jesus.
He does not consider caste, colour, status or background, and he says so from the front. Nobody is asked to stand up, single themselves out, or decide anything on the day.
Sis. Neeti Anderson, his wife, teaches regularly in the services and leads among the women of the church.
