Do Christians have food rules?
No. The Bible gives Christians no list of foods to keep or avoid, and what a believer eats is left to their own conscience before God.

Yes, and a Christian may also eat none. Both are free choices, and Scripture refuses to rank them.

Not in the smallest degree. Nothing in the Bible makes a person's food a measure of their faith.

Worship for about forty-five minutes, a message from the Bible for about fifty, testimonies, announcements, and prayer — including prayer for anyone who is unwell.

The 9:00 English service is one hour and ends at 10:00. The 10:00 bilingual service is the long one — it runs to about 2:00 and ends with a meal. The evening service is 4:00 to 6:00.

Whatever you own, dressed modestly. People arrive in jeans, in salwar kameez, in shirts and in sarees, on foot and on scooters.

Anywhere. The back is a perfectly good place to start, and there is no seat that belongs to somebody else.

Yes, and we mean to. Somebody will welcome you, and you will be offered a short form in case there is anything you would like us to pray about. Filling it in is entirely up to you.

No. Visitors are not expected to give and nobody is watching who does.

Who is with my children during the service?
Volunteers from this church whom the congregation knows by name, not strangers brought in for the morning.

You sign your child in, and you are the only person who can sign them out. Children are never alone with one adult.

Yes, and every week if you prefer. No parent has ever been asked to leave their own child.

What time are the services, and where exactly?
Zirakpur: 9:00–10:00 in English, and 10:00–2:00 in Hindi and English, at Plot 141, Victoria City. Chandigarh: 4:00–6:00.

The 9:00 is in English and lasts an hour. The 10:00 moves between Hindi and English, runs to about 2:00, and ends with a meal.

For most of Mohali, Zirakpur is the shorter run, and the 10:00 AM gives you time to get there.

I prayed and nothing happened. What do I make of that?
It does not mean God did not hear you. Scripture is honest that prayer is often answered slowly, differently, or with a no.

No. The Bible never makes an unanswered prayer the measure of a person's faith.

You pray anyway, briefly and plainly. Prayer is not a mood you have to generate first.
